Explore Tobago...
From its character and landscape you can divide Tobago - here is a map - into two different parts.
Most accommodations, restaurants and bars are located in the more flat and developed
part of the island between the airport, Plymouth and Scarborough, the capital, with
about 15,000 residents. Close to the airport you find Pigeon Point and
Buccoo Reef - the most famous attractions of the island. But in our photo gallery you will not only
find pictures of Pigeon Point, but...

Now we would like to invite you to our...
... short virtual trip around the island...
The famous Sunday School in the fishing village of Buccoo attracts many
local people and tourists with steelbands and hot Caribbean rhythm. On Easter-Tuesday thousands of
people come to this little village to enjoy the goat-and-crab-race with a
big party after the races. From Buccoo it’s only a few meters to the palm
tree surrounded golf course at Mt. Irvine – one of the most beautiful golf courses
in the world. Further on the way to Plymouth you can view Stone Haven and Turtle Beach,
two long sandy beaches which invite you to swim and where large sea turtles come on the
beach between April and August to lay their eggs. An unforgettable spectacle of nature.
At the highest point of Scarborough, you will have the opportunity to visit the
mostly maintained Fort King George, which was built by the British between
1777 and 1779. You have a spectacular view over the coastline and
Scarborough with its exotic market place and several little colourful
shops... |

Reaching the pristine parts of Tobago...
From Scarborough you can explore the northeastern part of the island with its tropical
rainforest, a lush vegetation, small fishing villages and secluded bays to swim.
The street along the Atlantic coast to Speyside and Charlotteville directs you to the
Argyle waterfall. From the Speyside Lookout you have a magnificent view over
to Goat Island and the uninhabited nature island Little Tobago,
which is known as one of the most magnificent bird paradises in the Caribbean.
After leaving Speyside a steep and winding road leads you over to the fishing village
Charlotteville on the Caribbean side. Charlotteville is a place with an intact
community, where time seems to be at a stand still and a soft tourism in harmony with
local population and nature is practised. Take a swim at the sandy beach of the
village or walk over to Pirate’s Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in Tobago.
Look at the fishermen pulling in their catch of the day or enjoy the view over
the sea and the relaxing tranquillity...
The rainforest of Tobago...
Discover the tropical rainforest with its enormous vegetation. From a service station located on the road between Roxborough and Parlatuvier you can explore the oldest protected rainforest in the western world on different hiking trails by yourself or with an experienced guide.
Also from Scarborough you can access the small villages and
remote bays at the northwest coast. Castara with its bay, Culloden-Bay,
King Peter’s Bay, Englishman’s Bay, Bloody Bay or Pallatuvier give you the
feeling of Caribbean pure...
